Finding a karaoke application is not difficult, but its library may not include your preferred songs. This is where winOKE comes in. It enables you to create and play your own karaoke files. The software places numerous options at your disposal, allowing you to customize the looks and behavior of a song's lyrics and much more.

You have to buy a license if you want to use winOKE for an unlimited period of time, but you can also try a fully functional trial version. The software is lightweight, which means that it can be downloaded and installed in less than a minute. It also means that you won't have to sacrifice too much disk space and memory.

The main interface is compact and it does not contain too many options. Karaoke files are created on a separate window, on which you can make numerous settings. After selecting a media file from your hard drive or an audio CD and typing a few details about the song or video, you can insert the appropriate lyrics and set up their behavior.

Besides typing or pasting lyrics, you can select different colors for normal and highlighted text fragments, choose a preview mode, select various effects, set up a slide show and much more. You can synchronize a song's lyrics yourself. The software will display the inserted lyrics in full screen mode and it will play the selected media file. While the song is playing, you must listen to its lyrics and select the appropriate text fragments with the mouse cursor. Depending on the rhythm, you may select the text faster or slower.

If you have one or more karaoke files, in different formats, you can use winOKE to convert them, re-link them with audio files and more. The software comes with a voice suppressor as well. You can use it on audio files, in WAV format, to remove the artist's voice from a song.
